Initial Consultation

​

I meet with a student and their parent(s) for up to 1.5 hours to learn about each student and what makes them unique. I will review current classes, extracurricular activities/awards, standardized testing, and address student interests and college goals. The meeting will be very informational and will not only help families understand the college admissions process but also provide a general overall plan to move forward for each student. The fee includes a detailed personalized follow-up letter outlining everything discussed from our meeting, plus more!

Additional Services (after Initial Paid Consultation)​

​

  • reviewing proposed classes for each high school year,

  • discussing standardized testing strategy/results and identifying tutors or test prep programs,

  • reviewing ongoing extracurricular activities and identifying impact activities,

  • providing summer ideas - job, classes, internship, programs, self-study, etc.,

  • guiding students through an ongoing Activity Template to highlight activities and honors,

  • assisting with determining major selection/career interests,

  • helping to form a balanced college list, 

  • reviewing admission plans, including rolling, early action, restrictive early action, early decision, and regular decision, to make a strategic plan, 

  • providing full access to the College Companion Program, featuring interactive worksheets to help organize and track progress. Worksheets include Student Home Page (includes To Do Lists, Status updates, Resource Links), Tasks/Assignments (the Curriculum), Meeting Notes, Activity List Templates, College List Data (imported for all colleges to assist with researching colleges), Personalized Application Tracker ( helping the student by giving deadlines, requirements for each college they apply to, etc.), and more!*,

  • brainstorming essay topics through pre-application exercises and review of essays,

  • workshops and one-on-one meetings to help with the Common Application, UC, and Cal State applications, 

  • reviewing college applications,

  • college interview support and resume guidance, if needed, 

  • answering all questions pertaining to the college application process and more!
